Sara Milburn

Sara Milburn grew up in northeast Iowa and attended Wartburg College, where she studied accounting and finance.  While there, she met her husband Scott.  Together they have lived in 3 states before settling in Decorah in 2013.  The small town feel, great schools, and closeness to family is what attracted them to this area.

Sara spent the first portion of her career working in banks in Iowa and Minnesota focused upon commercial and ag lending.  After 8 years,  Sara decided to utilize her Accounting degree more and moved into a controller role at a construction company.   Since moving to Decorah, you may have seen her working as the Finance Manager at Dental Associates.  Sara decided to get her real estate license in 2020 as she has always been drawn to real estate and housing design, especially after she and her husband successfully developed 27 acres in Pella. In her spare time, Sara enjoys watching her 2 children, Abby and Noah, as they participate in their many sporting and musical events as well as enjoying the outdoors with their dog Kaia.
